Besides buiding an ark- What is your favorite rainy day fun for kids?

It literally has rained everyday. My son has not been on his bike outside in over two months. Oh gee this is rough.

My husband wonders why the house is a mess> duh?

This is the playground dude! My son is 4...we are all "Dried up" on ideas and the forecast calls for rain the next 5 days.

Legos are the greatest toy for rainy days. I grew up boating on the river and every weekend my family would take trips and being I was usually the only young kid I would spend hours upon hours of building different structures and just passing time. Get you son some legos and he will entertain him self for hours.

My son is nearly 4 (next month) and he loves play dough, making his own books ( you write the words, he draws the pictures), puzzles, trips to the indoor play centre, baking muffins or making cookies, and playing board games. I know its tough being stuck inside! If all else fails, I usually take him to visit a friend who has kids the same age. Good luck!

board games or cards or CRAFTS are my favorite to do with my son who is 3. i bought a giant tub of rubber necklace thingies at walmart and some different colored lace things to string them on (no needles required) and he loves it it helps develop his dexterity and he will do that for hours or we get out construction paper, washable markers, pipe cleaners, paper plates and whatever else and make animal face masks with a Popsicle stick handle lots of fun for him and me! good luck and try looking up ideas on nickjr.com and noggin.com and sprouttv.com they have neat ideas on there for all ages
