What Was The First NOVEL You Ever Read?

And by "read" I mean...completely.

Young Adult "novels" are applicable as most of us had our first reading experiences not with books like War and Peace but like mine...A Cricket In Times Square.

What was your first book?

(Why do I sense Harry Potter will be the common answer?)

and her other books. People were surprised that I was reading such a long book at only 8 yrs. old. Her books were about 250-300 pages or so. (I'm 30 so Harry Potter wasn't my first, lol.)
