What causes me to sneeze and become congested when I change from a hot place to a cool place or vice versa?

    It's called "vasomotor rhinitis". It's not due to allergy or your immune system. When you move to a hot or cold place, the inside of your nose senses the change of temperature, and the blood vessels to dilate in response, causing congestion.

    it is your immune system. the immune system defends against bacteria and virus every second of your life. a change in environement can disrupt this process and force for it to start all over again. only cure is to grow immune to it.
