i had the same problem because of straightening and blow drying, and i used pantene. it helped me because i used the shampoo, conditioner, and a leave-in conditioner after i washed my hair. i would also recomend using a protectant when curling, straightening or blow drying your hair to prevent further damage. (by the way, i am a HUGE shia fan, too! you must have great taste! :))

Your hair must be pretty badly damaged. I used the same kind of conditioner and it did wonders for my hair. If it isn't working, I wouldn't bother using it again. At the very least you probably need a trim to cut some of the damage off. If your hair is chemically treated, I'd lay off using styling tools that use a lot of heat (especially curling irons and straighteners) for a while or use a leave in conditioner before using them. Also try using a wide tooth comb and never brush your hair when it's wet. That also causes damage. Then maybe try a hot oil treatment or moisture mask treatment on your hair a couple of times a week.

well, pantene is horrible for your hair it doesn't clean it or anything, the only thing it does is give it a coating. it's great for mopping floors! however the only way to get rid of split ends is to trim them off n keep getting a TRIM every 6 weeks. :) & only put conditioner on the ends of your hair & you should only do that about once or twice a week depends on your hair type.

    try hot oil treatments..

i used to have tons of split ends too from having my hair bleached, but then i trimmed my hair like an inch to two inches off, and now i have no more split ends. i just have to take care of my hair now and it's all cool.
