Could also be the Verdi Requiem - the Dies Irae. It's not opera, but written by an opera composer, and uses a big opera chorus - even experts say it might as WELL be an opera. Does it also have a lot of running-like-panic violins??

I have been a professional classical musician and music business owner and teacher for over 35 year - and I have a long list of *ear worms*, too - it's just that MY list is different from YOU list.

Both are really intense and both have a "boom boom" part.
