I always wonder about that . Why a carpenter? Why not a mason ? In a city made of stone being a mason would have made more sense wouldn't it ?

If he did build his own cross, he should have made it out of a really soft wood that wouldn't support his 'hanging' weight. If he had done that, it would have spared us a lot of this religious crap...

i don't see anything he built standing still... so he certainly wasn't the BEST. didn't compare to them egyptians!
