For Example ;) If i went to a nice hotel in October, and the hotel accidentally charged another persons card for my stay, can they correct the error by refunding the error card, which i think the hotel will, and then charge my card nearly two months after the fact? My bill has held a $0 balance for months now....any insight??

Well, my wife had a discover card about 5 years ago and went through a divorce and was stuck the card's balance. She basically hadn't done anything with it and Discover must have found her! Today, the was a withdraw of $1022 from Our joint checking......Can they legally do this without sending us any paperwork, court docs, judge order......??

Curiosity, I would like for all of us R&S'ers to list what state they are in, and what their religious beliefs are. I am wondring if there is any corralation between geography and beliefs.

What do youthin would happen if we were able to send one or all of these magicians back to the time when jesus started talking about all his nonsense? What would jesus do if David Copperfield pulled a rabbit out of jesus' butt during one of his sermons? do you think that the people would think that the magicians were supernatural and follow him instead?

if the bible is the "word", then why are there so many versions of it? it the bible like microsoft windows? when something doesnt make sense, they go back and re-write? they install an upgrade to fix the errors in the last version? if the earth is only 6000 years old or so, then how did we get to the point where ther are so many different languages and dialects throughout the world?

we do we have primative instincts like fight or flight, adrenaline rush and dilating pupils.....why all have that, so why didnt "god" program christian beliefs into our brians? we dont have to make our own hearts beat, it just does, so why not make our beliefs like that too?:

Hypothetically...if there were a cataclyismic event that wiped out nearly all of humanity, and the only things that survied were the engilsh language, a group of isolated people and the entire Harry Potter book collection, do you think that Harry Potter would be considered "god" from that time forward?

why would a god create animals that can kill you, eat you, maim you, hurt you, disfigure you........Like lions, tiger, rattle snakes, sharks, bears, even bees (for some people)....yes, humans may be the most sophisticated species, but you dump a human into the jungle with no possesions (like back when "god" created the world 4000 years ago..lol) we wouldnt stand a chance!!!

would you consider mother nature devilish in her ways that she cast hurricanes, tonadoes, earthquakes, fires, etc. unto the earth that kill, maim, and hurt people?

If god has a plan for everyone, then why isnt it that I, an atheist, am just simply doing what god wanted me to do? isnt it possible that i was created to not believe in god? would it be too hard for christians to fathom the fact that maybe i am just doing and believeing what i am supposed to?

Christians always talk about "god's will".....if you got into a horrible accident because god needs you, and you are supposed to die so you can go where ever and do what ever, then arent doctors, and nurses, and paramedics messing with gods plan for you??? and no, i dont want to hear how it is gods plan for the doctors to save you cause no "god" would ever put anymore through a horrible accident and make you and your family suffer on purpose.........so are doctors acting devilish in their ways?

My wife and I need a new mattress. Does anyone out there own a memory foam mattress, and if so, what is it like to get busy on?? We laid on one in a store a long time ago, and I didn't think that it would be good for sex.....

I need 24V DC about 10Amp max for my machine at work. I was going to make a Power supply, should I use a full Bridge rectifier with cap, or will a simple full wave do OK. Will I harm the DC motor by not supplying a constant DC Voltage?
