You are insulting my deity. Gaea does not smite people, she defends herself against the human infestation that is out to destroy her.

The Abrahamic God is more of the devil than She is.

Nature has always had it's ups and downs. It's called balance. Something that you regard as "devilish" because it causes you harm can be "godlike" for other creatures. And it seems that many of the natural disasters you just enumerated are man-made or at least man-influenced. So I wouldn't go as far as saying that Nature is evil, when the only TRUE evil out there is human-kind itself. If there was no nature, there'd be no Life, as thus, no you to ask this question.

And since this question is at "Religion-Spirituality" I have to tell you that, for me, "Nature" is the equivalent of "God". That means that in my eyes you just made a sacrilege... And a silly one, at that! I didn't mean to insult you with my answer - sorry if i did.

    Have a nice day.

No, this is a stupid question. I am a non christian, but how could you call mother nature the devil, have you been to Hawaii? It's beautiful!

But she also allows trees to grow, waterfalls to be beautiful and numerous other wonderful things. You just have to take the good with the bad.

Those are called "Acts of god" - legally.

But no, I don't believe in gods or devils (which are just gods with bad PR).
