If the illegals way of life were being threatened, do you think they would suffer to help you?
I don't for one second believe that these illegals would offer a dime to an American who was in need!
Clearrose, is it my fault that your parents didn't help you? And how is it that you are so poed! Anger is just another form of fear and maybe you fear that your parents don't love you enough? Again, not my problem.
Dog Tricks, good for you! I'm glad that your kindness was appreciated. It's not always that way.
Stonecold, I was a foster parent for many years. I bought and paid for almost everything those children ever had at my expense, I'm not against charity.

Then your question should be - If your American way of life were threatened, do you think the illegals would help you? Because that is the way is going. And no would be my answer to either side of their situations. If mexico were a properous country they wouldn't help. And if illegals were prosperous here in our country, they most certainly would not help. Not an American anyway.
And my answer would be no. Look at some of the illegal supporters, and some Anti's just in here on YA who say they will not help an American that is down and out on their luck. As well as making fun of them for having signs and begging to survive. The poor in Mexico do the same begging, only they don't have signs held up. They simply walk up and ask.
Don't get me wrong. There are a certain percentage of those Americans begging here in the U.S. who are able to work and do what most others can't. But in Mexico... you definitely know that they are poor. And it's mostly children who come up and ask. Groups at a time in some cases. And if the local authorities catch them doing this, as I have seen in some cases. They chase them off, and sometimes only after taking what they had begged for.
My way of handling it has been to buy extra food and drink at a fast food joint. If a man, woman, or child is hungry... thirsty... and one knows where they hang around at. Why not feed them, and give them something to drink to quench their thirst. There has even been times when I come across someone who is in that condition and just give them the food or drink I have just bought for myself.
So one must either be a compassionate human being at times. But also remain a realist to understand that not all can be saved. As no one leaves this world alive.

I think their way of life here in the US illegally is being threatened by our protests and demands for their deportations. Their and their supporters response has been to respond with violence at peaceful demonstrations against them to support law enforcement. They might help individuals who give them support in turn, but I strongly believe they would refuse any aid in general.
I volunteer time in a soup kitchen, at an annual toy drive for Christmas, and a few other local charities. They aren't contributors, but takers there.

You know what, you're starting to really piss me off! Do you know any illegal immigrants? Personally? How do you know they wouldn't help an American in need? Let me tell you something........My boyfriends family LEGALLY in the country from Mexico and all of the other Hispanic families that I know are FAR more generous then a lot of Americans. AND I'M AMERICAN. I feel more welcome with them then I do with my own family. So you need to get over yourself again...........Would you....do what you just asked, honestly? Probably not.....
AND if you would like some examples.....
My own FATHER wouldn't help pay the medical bills for getting my wisdom teeth out, I was so upset, because my father is wealthy. So I was talking to my b/f about it, he talked to his parents and 10 min later they handed me $300 dollars in CASH and said don't worry about paying us back until you can.
Also, I graduated this year and wanted to have a grad party with is family and mine. A huge party about 30+ people and my mom was going to pay for everything, but his family was going to cook. They paid for everything, the only thing my mom bought was the meat.
So, don't tell me immigrants can't be generous

It depends on the individual. You can't look at one and expect all to be that way. I have been through some pretty tough times, and the only ones to help me were my illegal friends. They were there for me emotionally, and financially. These people pulled money together for me to help my Mom, and later helped pay for her burial. They have helped me many times. I have in turned helped them in small ways. Some are not out to take, take, take. There are those that try to show a little gratitude.

Miss L A I'm sorry but I have to say yes some would. After one of my ESL classes I came out to find a flat tire.2 of the guys went to change it and found my spare had a hole. They took me home and I was going to call my mechanic to bring me a tire in the morning.Less than an hour later the guys were back at my door. They had bought me a new tire and wanted to put it on.They wouldn't let me pay them for labor or the tire. They said it was because I was good to them. Not all of them are selfish jerks just as not all of them are nice.BTW it was 30 below with wind chill.I thought that was really a wonderful thing to do given the weather and everything.

Hell no!! Trust me, i know from experience of knowing many illegals that that would not be the case!! I know many illegals who hate americans, i have even heard some say that they 'only care about "Brown Pride" and screw the whites and all other americans!!! ' They said it in Spanish!! Do you want to have those kinds of people in America??? I dont....that why i think they all need to get deported!!!

No. The Illegal Aliens walk around with their Entitlement Mentality and they would NOT help anyone unless there's something in it for them.

I think on an individual basis, yes, they would. I know a lot of people that are undocumented, and, when I went through a divorce ( I am a white professional that works with them), they offered a lot of support. Of course, due to cultural differences they saw it is a huge negative, and, worried for our children, but, were forthcoming with offerings of homemade food, offers to call or spend time together, one lady even knitted a blanket for my baby. I think they thought we would become homeless or something.
But, as a group, I don't know.

Hell no, all they care about is coming here undetected so they can open their taco shop in America.
No laws, real citizens, or safety concerns for others is going to get in THEIR way.
