So let's say someone tells you to worship them?

Or else when you die you go to a very uncomfortable place, and I don't mean the back of a Volkswagen. Do you really have a choice?

worship is a matter of choice, is not enforceable on any one

Kind of like forcing someone to volunteer, isn't it? That really is some choice: Worship me or go to a horrible place. That is not really a choice. That's like me saying "Take me to Wal Mart, or I'll torture you until you die". I'm sure you'll take me to Wal Mart, but you did not do so freely, did you? You only did it to avoid being tortured until you died.

    That would be your choice.

If you are of an age where you can distinguish what is right or wrong, and you can consciously make FREE WILL decisions, then you are free to believe as you will.

You just do not have the right to force others that your belief is right.

You always have choices, sweetheart. Always.

Edit: And forced thinking cannot come from ANYone.. dictator or no... No one can change how you think in your head or feel in your heart. They can break the outside if they want/need to.. but they can't change how you think or feel. You always can choose those two things for yourself.

I would tell them that I already know where I'm going when I die, and that God commanded me to worship no one other than Him, so they'll just have to tough it out.

You asking a question about extortion based on fraud.

It is a lie to claim that myth is truth. The affirmation of an ability to know about the existence of a good one in Heaven at war with an evil one cast down to and ruling over Earth is a fraud that follows from the lie that myth is truth. Conservative ideological authorities perpetrate this fraud inorder to be able; to make threats against the life and or afterlife of anybody who does not submit to their authority; and to extort from communities of faithful believers tithes and offerings in exchange for a lifelong indoctrination in a standard of conduct that these same ideological authorities proclaim to be the discovery of the truth about the will of a good one in Heaven at war with and evil one cast down to and ruling over Earth. Extortion based on threats made against the life and or afterlife of others and or a fraudulent affirmation of an ability to know about the existence of a good one in Heaven at war with an evil one cast down to and ruling over Earth should be considered a crime against humanity because in committing acts of extortion based on fraud that follows from the lie that myth is truth these ideological authorities lead communities of faithful believers to have a low esteem of self and world that is not conducive to happiness and good health.

Do you really have a choice?

You have to judge for yourself. If you feel that refusing to give into extortion based on fraud will put your life in jeopardy, then maybe the best thing to do is to give into extortion based on fraud until such a time as you can put yourself into a more secure position.

Yes you do have a choice.

Just because you say you worship them under mortal force, does not mean that you really do worship them.

    You cannot force faith.

    Peace be with you.

Sure you do. Who says you can feel after you die?

Forced thinking can only come from a dictator.

With God you have a choice. It's pretty evident which one you have made.
