Need help with car desision.?

It's between a Saturn Vue and a Chevrolet Equinox. We need ROOM, and plenty of it. Leg room in the back row is also important. The gas mileage needs to be good and the car needs to come in 4WD. We are trying to keep the price around the mid $20's ($25,000). Any comments would be appreciated... unless they are stupid. Please don't re-direct me back to a website, unless it is really good.

Update:

What about the Suzuki XL-7?

Update 2:

Asjrb, what is your problem?! What do you expect to find on a question and answer website? Grow up yourself. Since you're acting like a 2 year old I'll give you the same answer I'd give a 2 year old, If you can't say anything nice then don't say anything at all.

Both the Vue and the Equinox are built on the same platform. If you care about engine choice, the Equinox comes with a bigger, Honda engine.

Otherwise, I suppose it comes down to aesthetics. Which one "feels" better? It's always better to feel good about a vehicle when you send in your car payment.

the cars are both made by GM, so the question is really cosmetic. they both have the same room and design, the only diff is this, the Saturn is a little less easy to negotiate , the Chevy will bend over backward to help you, so i would say stay with the Chevy ...its the same car anyway. also, a Chevy dealer will probably let you buy it for 400 to 500 over invoice, then even give rebates on top of that. see your local chevey dealer . here is a great tool to compare any vehicle you want to compare against chevy

also stay away from suzuki, the have absolutely no resale value. look those there aswell

    good luck!

If it were me, I would buy a year or two old, low milage honda pilot or toyota highlander. Why, because they will last longer, have much better resale, better fuel economy, less problems down the road, and the company's aren't going to be bankrupt in a few years. Check with any rating system like comsumer reports, motor trend, or even go to a non biased dealer. You will get the same response. There is wisdom in a multitude of counselors, not goofballs!

Subaru gets plenty extra valuable mileage. and that i hate admit it yet is extra stable interior the long-term. I merely bought my Firebird formula and acquired a Honda by way of an prolonged force to artwork and gasoline costs. while you're staring at a WRX it somewhat is, or so I actual have examine a solid vehicle. have relaxing, yet be careful. teen right here in my section merely rolled one at ninety miles an hour. Malibu California, killed him and 3 of his acquaintances interior the wellness facility. It flipped end over end. no longer the vehicle's fault, yet a drunkin teen's and a soft shoulder. merely be careful. This a small vehicle with loads of umph! Sorry, I merely had to place that throughout the time of there.

Get a Ram-Van !!! You must not be too bright if you can't make up your own mind! Saturn only makes junk! Get a Ram -Van & make it a 4wd. Van. I saw plenty of 4wd suv's in the ditch this past winter as I drove by in my 2wd van , they just don't know how to drive in winter or summer.

theyre the same vehicle, but i do believe thay can be had in AWD, not 4WD, difference is AWD is on all the time. the AWD one get 22mpg, our best friend had one.

We considered this vehicle, but have decided to get the Chevy HHR due to the great mileage (30mpg) and the way the rear of the vehicle can be set up with a flat floor for hauling.

best advise I can give you is drive them both lots see what fits you the best. be aware that the ford escort and the honda crv far out rate the other small suv

when your driving them remember to ride in the back . note how difficult some are to get into the back seet, also check luggage area.

this is the only area we really feel limited in in out escape.

personally i found the feel of the chevy's to feel unstable when they required the addittional traction of 4wd.

All are built on the same assembly line. Only minor cosmetic variances. The Suzuki has the best warranty.

    Not much of a choice here...The Vue gets a Honda V-6...The Chevy gets a Chinese-made V-6...WTF?

Count me outta both vehicles...no way I'm buying a $25k car with a Chinese engine.
