does anyone know if Disney World does anything "special" on the date 07/07/07 or 08/08/08?
My daughter will be 8 on 08/08/08 and I wanted to do something really special because that is the "golden" birthday or whatever it is called and that won't happen very often for anyone! So i was thinking of going to disney. does anyone if they do something different on that kind of day? Or could it be extra crowded?? thanks.

Disney World won't be doing anything special for 08/08/08 (they didn't do anything special for 07/07/07).
However -- going to WDW for a kid's birthday is always fun and always special.
Be sure to visit Guest Services (either in a Disney resort or theme park) and let the Cast Member at the desk know that it's her birthday. They'll give her a free pin that says "Today is my birthday" -- have her wear that all day, and many Cast Members and guests that she comes across will wish her a Happy Birthday! It's guaranteed to put a smile on her face!

In 8/8/08 it will be on a Thursday, and during the summer. It will still be crowded, because it always is. 7/7/07, 8/8/08 are just regular days, and I don't think anywhere they will be doing anything special. Just tell them it is your daugther's birthday and she might get to have a tea-party with her favorite characters.
