What else is missing from my hard drive?

I recently used my System Recovery CD and it erased I guess everything from my hard drive. I know it erased my files and folders but I also think it erased my drivers. So since my computer is Gateway GX7022E, I went to their website and downloaded an Audio Driver, an Ethernet Driver, a Video Driver, and a AVStream Driver Revision. I'm not sure what else I need to download, can anybody help me?

Go to Control Panel - System - Hardware - Device Manager and check the list of devices on your system. If you don't see any red or yellow dots, you've got all your drivers and you're all good to go.

If you do see any red or yellow dots, you have more drivers to download. Since Gateway's been pretty helpful to you so far, I'd stick with them and just go back to their website.

Looks like you're doing great so far. If you're not done, good luck with the rest!

If U can connect now via ethernet, fine. But you need to establish if other drivers are missing / or need updating.

    Access Device Manager.

To access Device Manager, use any of the following methods:

    - Click Start, click Run, and then type "devmgmt.msc" (without the quotation marks).

    - Right-click My Computer, click Manage, and then click Device Manager.

    - Right-click My Computer, click Properties, click the Hardware tab, and then click Device Manager.

    - Type the following command at a command prompt: start devmgmt.msc

Check all hardware for missing drivers.

Try this site below for future problems - I just know ur gonna get them!

have you tried running windows update?

should update a bunch of stuff, but most of what you need will be on the recovery disc
