postal workers strike?

can someone answer me as to how stupid our postman really are. firstly, why are they striking? is it hours, overworked, pay (not that they don't make the money up from birthday and xmas cards).

Have the vile crettins not relised yet that by having a one day strike means they have to carry twice as much tomorrow?

Ive been waiting for my social check for three weeks now, my twelve children are hungry, perhaps i should ask the Macanns for some of their chariety/company money that i can't work out is being spent on, SHUT UP CLATUS IM ON THE NET THING. So could everyone please beat up a postman when you see one and see if they have my cheque.

Update:

sanchez

although i understand you daft reply i still mantain that postman are stupid. why create more work for yourself by having a girly cry the day before beacuse you want more money to buy cans of special brew to drink in the park whilst going through birthday cards to see how much is in them.

as for nurses and doctors striking and you think i would support them....then you are thicker than i thought. if im in a hospital bed awaiting major treatment and the doctor told me i had to wait a day for a new kidney i would bloody not say. "thats alright Dr. not sure i'll be alive by the time your strike has finished, but thanks all the same old chap." Instead i would put needles in his eyes.

But then again i wouldn't know i had and appointment with the hospital because the ******* postmen were on strike.

I would love to beat one of them, possible stab them with a flaming spear that has posion dart frog attached. I have been expecting mail for three weeks too. For all the info go to the royam mail website, but it does say that we shouldn't have a strike until the 8th. Idiots.

Oh, and it's about pay. The royal mail can't offer them a pay raise though.

I agree with Sanchez that calling them 'vile cretins' isn't really helpful. However, I am concerned that when doctors, firemen, surgeons and police strike they have to maintain a minimal service i.e. all the firemen in one county can't go on strike at the same time. This means that if there is a fire, there is someone on hand to put it out. I think this current situation where strikes are rolled out across the country, instead of a series of one day strikes is unfair, as mail gets held up in different sectors - mail held in a sorting office which is on strike today, may not get delivered tomorrow because the post men/women are on strike in this area. Whilst the postal service isn't life threatening, and I know they want to cause maximum disruption to get their point across, it seems a little unfair on the rest of us who are not waiting for social cheques, but nevertheless are suffering.

So it doesn't matter to you that they are hilariously underpaid and get treated like crap at work? It isn't an enviable job and calling them vile crettins is just out of order. You think it's an easy job then go do it yourself, you can be a part-time postie, earn some money. Though I really doubt you have twelve children :p If you were unhappy in your job, you'd like to think you can make a difference and fight for the standards you deserve in this country, but when it comes to a service that you take for granted, when they're unhappy they're the enemy.

If it were nurses and doctors on strike, you'd all support them, but hevean forbid, the postmen are striking, they're the bad guys? Why? Is it the postmen's fault? Nope, sorry, you're mislead with that one so don't you dare refer to me as 'vile crettin' again. HAve you considered that maybe, just maybe, bad management is to blame for bad service?

Idiot. People like you don't deserve social cheques. Though, I really think you do need a social check.

    Sanchez must be a postman.

Stop bloody putting the wrong mail in my letterbox, i get letters for people 3 streets away......and they look important. I always put it back in the post box in the hope that you might actually read the address properly the next day.

Why don't you get a job as a postman, & stop sponging of the State. Then you can do something useful, like joining

the picket line & stop reproducing ?
