Will forcing Iraq back into the Stone Age reward Bush with Oil Contracts for Exxon and Halliburton?

http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20070804/ap_on_re_mi_ea...

As Iraq collapses with bad food, little water, fuel and soon no electricity, will Iraqis be forced to turn over their future oil rights in exchange for survival?

Update:

Halliburton is indeed in the oil business! Take a look at their corporate website: http://www.halliburton.com/

The UN Humanitarian inspectors are saying Iraq is on its way to being one of the worst humanitarian crisis's of all time even apart from the violence these people are dying from malnutrition and lack of clean water

At the same time America is spending billions on their new embassy there The Kuwaiti company who have the contract

are connected to Halliburton(surprise surprise) have been found to be using slave labour .these people had their pass ports taken away were taken to Iraq at gunpoint worked for nothing ,half starved one person is known to have been worked to death ,shot if they tried to escape .

And now the US is even actually funding and arming the Saddam loyalists who America went there to overthrow

the whole thing would be like some slapstick comedy if it wasn`t so sad

I also want to add that there is more oil readily available in Alaska than the entire Middle East. But the tree hugging liberals with their fear of killing a seal are tieing our nations hands for what ?????????? a stupid SEAL!!!!!!!!! anyway I want to say that all you liberals that are beating a dead horse with the stupid conspiracy of Bush and Oil , trying getting yourselves off crack so you can reason as an intelligent person. Bush, did not create this war THEY STARTED FIRST, and I am a New Yorker and was suppose to be downtown on 9/11 Thank God I was not, so the way I see it is you idiots that are trying to raise a fight with no basis or fundamentals are living a LIE, yes !!WAKE UP AND SMELL THE COFFEE!!!!!!!!!! The beloved Democrats are Liberals just waiting to steal a vote then sell our Nation down the river ..>WAKE UP PEOPLE .... Bush has done a fantastic job for what he was handed by Clinton's stupidity, and while on that subject the reason why our fuel is so expensive dip **** is because Clinton passed the law for reformulated gas and its the US Government that makes approximately 2.00 a gallon , the gas station makes 3-4 cents per gallon and the Oil companies for your info make 11 cents, SO BUSH IS NOT TO BLAME .... Go blame a CLINTON they screwed up the US in 8 years of stupidity.!!!

It is very doubtful. If Iraq descends into chaos, it will be nearly impossible to get oil to the ports because the pipelines will fall under the control of so many different warring factions, constantly sabotaging one another, the whole thing would shut down.

Obviously, this is not the scenario that Halliburton or Exxon would have expected. But if Iraq splits in to Sunni, Shiite, and Kurdish states, they might be able to negotiate something (remember, money talks, even in Iraq). But the big hope, although its fading fast, is to keep Iraq one country.

Why not look up some of the statistics groups like Amnesty International came up with during Saddam's reign, and find out how many people were without electricity, fuel, and water then. The only reason he was able to keep the people from rising up against him was by ruling with an iron fist and claiming we were the ones causing it with our sanctions. They were in the stone age before we got there, we had very little to do with the current issues.

No, Victory will reward the United States for President's Courage, and for the continued FREEDOM that we so cherish.

The REAL enemy is from within our borders, the Socialist Democrats will adopt Communist policies, so let's hope they don't succeed in getting in.
