Why don't you spend 2-3 hours and watch some of these videos / read some webpages and actaully THINK for YOURSELF, instead of having it prettied up and censored and shoved down your throat by the government?

I love the guy above quoting "Popular Machanics", as though they're some kind of authority. That whole magazine can be bought for a few hundred thousand. Watch "9/11 and the BBC conspiracy". They have a REAL physics Professor comment on the peckerwood from "Popular Mechanics" David Coburn (notice he's not a PH.D, just an easil bought journalist). Also, if you know how to read people, you can tell he's lying. He looks down to the ground quite a bit, then he looks UP and to the LEFT, which are clear indications he's not telling the truth.

How about the fact that there hasn't been another terror attack in the US, even on a small scale of some C4 in a shopping mall, or suicide bomber in a crowded urban area...YET 20,000+ illegal Mexicans cross over each month.

So, the terrorists are able to hijack a bunch of planes with box cutters and expertly fly them into their targets, yet now these "suicidal terrorists" aren't even as smart as some Mexicans with virtually no education?

What if the whole reason for 9/11 WAS to protect our country...longer term?

As in OIL.

If you were part of the group responsible and you honestly felt it was in the countries best interest to preserve the our way of life, would you open your mouth?

Patriotism is simply a matter of dates in time.

The theory goes something like this:

9/11 was to jump start the publics hatred of Arab people.

This gets us rallied behind Bush to invade Iraq and very few troops to Afghanistan (where the terrorists supposedly were).

No weapons of MD found in Iraq, but our country now hates the Arab world over the fake 9/11.

We take oil, oil, oil, .....

Look into Saddam and the world oil market. The US has a monopoly of sorts, in that the oil market uses the US Dollar as trade currency. Every country has to stockpile massive amounts of US Dollars to buy oil with. This keeps the dollar somewhat stable. Saddam wanted to break free of this and sell Iraqi oil to China and Russia using the much stronger Euro as oil transaction currency. This would be bad for the US Dollar, as you can bet other countries would have followed. Depression / collapse anyone? Maybe...we don't export anything....

In light of the above, would you have participated in 9/11 and kept it a secret? I think any Patriotic American would have.

WishiWas, watch the videos. The WTC's were not fully occupied, many floors were empty with no tenants. Besides, it would be men in work uniforms, who would've thought they were rigging the building? Ever hear of service elevators?

Also, phosphate was found in the wreckage, burning VERY HOT weeks after the collapse. (Phospate is an explosive).

Again, just watch "9/11 Mysteries" that I linked to. It explains it all in detail. Have an open mind, and remember that all the news channels are corporate owned and government controlled. TV is the opiate of the masses.

Oh yeah, I linked another clip from the UK, where a reporter states the building has fallen, 7 minutes before it fell. If that doesn't tell you something, you're a lost cause.

The funny part about these 9/11 conspiracy theories is that no one who believes in them gives the people they say planned it, the assumed intelligence to pull it off. If you want to learn the finer points of building demolition, seek out an expert, not some guy who saw buildings blow up on TV. You still might find one that will agree with you. after all, the museum of creationism has Doctors on it's payroll, so it's not imposable. They might not be credible, but I don't think that would matter to you.

Actually your thinking about Pearl Harbor is way off. Many didn't see Japan striking America as a way to get the US into the European war. Many conspiracy theorists point to the treaty without reading it. Article III states that if attacked the others would come to their defense, not if they were the attacker. Also reading dispatches many in the Japanese high command didn't expect Germany to declare war on the US. As for provoking, the US actually was using diplomatic and economic methods to get Japan out of China (didn't know that this was provoking?). The very things I hear many clamoring for when dealing with Iran, Iraq, North Korea, sound familiar. I've read many of these conspiracies of Pearl Harbor and none have changed my mind (something I've been studying for over 25 years). If you were 'learned' you also know to question those who put forth the conspiracies as well. If you want a way on how the government lies, take a look at congress and the bills they pass. Look at the names of the bills then see what's really in them. Its there that the government lies the most, not in conspiracies that are easily debunked.

First of all, the people at "Loose Change" provide misleading, unsubstantiated "facts" and then try to present their products of BS as scientifically sound. It's ALL a bunch of NONSENSE. Sure, it makes for some fascinating fiction, but in the real world, it truly doesn't hold up. What's incredibly amazing here, is that all these incidents that you mention and claim are nothing more than staged events, would have taken hundreds and hundreds of people to effectively perpetrate. Which is hilarious if you really think about it. You can't get TWO people to keep a secret in ANY government, but if we're to accept your conspiratorial claims, hundreds of individuals have successfully kept their mouths shut while executing these horrific crimes. Sorry, I just don't buy it.

Those building were used 24 hours a day 7 days a week with security guards at every elevator. Do you think they could get that much explosive inside the building unnoticed?

IF 9/11 were the grand conspiracy that some claim, THEN why has not one single person -- not one -- who was involved come forward to tell the tale? Do you have any idea just how massive the coordination effort would have been? Human character dictates that at least one person would have felt compelled by now to reveal "the truth."

Further, I did a little research (WOW! Kind of hard to do since I haven't had a thought of my own in 20+ years) on your comment about phosphates. Phosphates are NOT a explosive by themselves. Phosphates are used in the manufactoring of some explosives. And I have no doubt that phosphates were found at the Towers. Since phosphates are used in making high grade screws, nuts and bolts, hard wire, rivets, flame resistant fabrics, light bulbs, the making of high grade steel girders, and in many food products we use every day. Imagine that?!?! Finding phosphates after the aircraft hit the towers, no one would expect to finds steel girders, high grade hardware from the aircraft, or left over flame resistant fabric from the planes.
