I Need Help Finding Textbooks.?
I'm going to be a freshman in business school next year and got my book list (a rough book list) and it's really confusing me. Here are the books I need let me know if you know of good websites to find them or find them yourself (even better!):
Introduction to Business, custom by Ferrell
Essential Statistics in Business and Economics w/ CD by Doane
Essential Statistics in Businses and Economics w/ homework manager by Doane
*4 Exploring Microeconomics w/ SG, WSJ Card & student Handbook by Sexton
Psychology by Myers
Thanks!

Half.com has all of them at a good discount except for the Ferrell book. When it says "custom", what that means is that the professor put together his own set of materials, and you have to buy that directly from the bookstore. I assume you are going to the University of New Mexico? O.C. Ferrell and Linda Ferrell are both prolific authors, and it is likely that whichever one is your professor is giving you an early version of one of their books which hasn't actually been published yet.

I know the feeling... try these:
half.com
ebay.com
amazon.com
alibris.com
mbsdirect.net maybe, they are expensive some times
try the book store at your school, or book stores near by. the book store at my brother's college sells some books at discount, but if you go across the street you can get them at about half of the university's discounted price!
ask other people at your university where they get their books
sometimes you can check it out from a library
borrow from a friend
check out my profile, i asked a similar question about 6mo ago and got some good answers.
hope this helps, i've done most of these!
