because these people really do believe in him, but won't admit it until something bad happens to them, and for those of you who obviously didn't understand the questioon, she said, when something bad happens.

God is a part of us whether we believe or not. God is love. When you or someone else is in pain, it is your natural instinct to care and want to reach out. This is a feeling. And feeling is the first step in finding God.
The mind is cold, analytical, breaking apart everything to try and explain creation. When in truth you are Creation. You are love.
External pain, doubt and fear can shun anyone's opinion of God in a heartbeat. But a swift blow of pain or fear or even death will make you cry out to God. When you are in the void or limbo, or when you feel so depressed that you don't want to live anymore, you want to believe in God. Because God is the best part of us all. God is the reason why we love our family and our children.
God is purpose. God is determination. God is strength. God is Joy in your heart. God is Love. You are Love.
Dark negative clouds of thought can shroud what everyone takes for granted. It is easy for people to complain about their existence. But the truth is, it is a miracle that they are alive.
If I had a choice to believe in God or not to believe. I would choose to believe because of the love in my heart. And when something does happen, I will not hesitate to say, "Oh God".
Because I am thankful for the gift of life. And no one wants that gift to be harshly taken away or to dwell in Hell. Awaken to your inner beauty of love and you have your answer.
A Dull Knife is never sharp unless it cuts the Heart. Pieces scatter. They are placed together like a puzzle. Most people wouldn't even look to pick up the pieces. But it is the one that does care and feel that is one step closer to the truth. There is meaning in your soul. You just have to feel it. Oh God.
You need proof? Proof is Love. Without love you will never have proof. If you are not able to love then you will always spin in circles. If you cannot feel. Then you will never comprehend God. And God will never comprehend you.
Oh God. There is no evidence or a physical confirmation of God. Accept what is front of you. A life has no vivid colors without imagination and wonder. If everything was black and white. Golly Jee. It would just be a routine of emptiness. Because you made it empty. You chose to not believe. Therefore that is your reality. Oh God.
You are a creator. Your abilities are much greater. Expand your horizon. Be.

It's not a cry to God, honey.
It's a common phrase used in society .
And Christians aren't supposed to say "oh God" or "oh my God" either. Thou shalt not take the name of the lord in vain.

This is because they like to make fun of the guy everyone refers to as thier God. I can't say that I never said it though cuz everyone gets mad at some point in their life.

It's a figure of speech. Very, very few of the people who say "Oh God" actually mean it.

Actually, I don't say "Oh God" I say, "Holy piece of sh!t" ..... I certainly don't pray to a piece of sh!t.
(JFI, I had heard christians who do not want to commit blasphemy shouted the "Holy sh!t" .... does that mean christians pray to a piece of sh!t? I certainly do not think so. However, based on your theory, christians does pray to sh!t"

It isn't. Don't believe anything the church propaganda, or its sheep, tell you.
Would YOU cry out for the Tooth Fairy if you had a toothache?

Duh... it is not a common expression in our society? Even if we don't believe in it, it's still a common term we grew up with that pretty much everyone uses. Hate to disappoint you, but to us our saying it has no actual meaning or belief in regard to your deity.

Same reason people say all curse words (Even though that's not a curse word/phrase), because it is satisfying to say.

It has passed into a figure of speech. Nothing more.
