Well deserved. If he is ever let out he would try some other terrorist act and could be successful.

What would you have the judge do? Give Richard Reid a slap on the wrist and say-now stay away from explosives-ok?I have not seen any concrete evidence that what Mr. Reid said is true. Let's say, for the sake of argument it is, does that give anyone the right to blow up an airplane? Is that the way to solve a problem? That's Mr. Reid's solution and doesnt that say a lot for his judgment and values?

It was well deserved, but the Judge didn't go far enough...
he should have banned Reid from ever wearing shoes again!
