What is wrong with this person??

Example:

Person A has1 million dollars and his friend (Person B) has $10. Person A is not satisfied and seeks to find ways to keep Person B down and not get anymore money.

Is this personality just referred to as jealousy? It seems to me that it is some pathological behavior or sociopathic.

What do u think?

Update:

both are middle class

Update 2:

mountain mom is close...this person also has to be in control when eating at restaurants by ordering for the whole table despite what other want.

you missed uncle sam- person C- who attempts to make it look like he's taking money from person A and giving it to person B- but in reality he is not only giving person A person B's money, he's giving person A person C's money! Kinda sucks.

I think Person B needs to get the hell away from Person A as quickly as possible, and let this be a lesson about what money can do to a person.

Person A cannot keep Person B down, though, unless Person B allows it.

So, Person B has a bit of a problem as well, if he is letting Person A do that to him. Masochist? No self-worth? Why would anyone stick around for what could be defined quite rightly as abuse?

So, they are both problem personalities. An abuser cannot abuse without an abusee. It takes two.

Person B needs to get up and out of there, break all contact with Person A, and get his or her own life and income - and stop taking abuse while waiting for money to drop from Person A, which never will.

See,when person A finds that he is unable to earn 9 millions or more to be equal with or more than person B,then the only logical choice he has to bring down that person to a level of his own or lower and all the efforts he puts in to bring down person B follow that pattern. This is much more simpler than being pathological or a sociopath. It could be termed as a combination of jealousy and meanness plus something more. It's a common enough in most societies.

I DON'T THINK IT ALL HAS TO DO WITH JEALOUSY. I THINK IT HAS TO DO WITH CONTROL. I HAVE SEEN PEOPLE WHO WERE KIND TO THOSE LESS FORTUNATE UNTIL THEY STARTED TO DO BETTER, THEN THEY IMMEDIATELY STARTED TO TRY TO CUT THEM DOWN. I FEEL THAT PEOPLE LIKE THAT ARE TRULY INTO CONTROL. THEY ARE SO AFRAID THAT OTHERS WILL GET ON AN EVEN KEEL WITH THEM AND THEY WON'T HAVE THE UPPER HAND THAT THEY WILL DO ANY UNDERHANDED THING THEY HAVE TO TO KEEP THE REST OF THE WORLD AT THEIR FEET. IT ACTUALLY BECOMES AN ILLNESS AFTER SO LONG A TIME. THEY ARE TO BE PITIED I FEEL. FOR AFTER A WHILE, THEY DON'T EVEN TRUST EACH OTHER, FEELING THAT EVERY GOOD THING DONE IS FOR SOME REASON. IT IS SO SAD.

    Desire for power.

When one has power they try to keep it. They'll do anything to make sure they stay on top, even if it comes down to doing something as low as to oppress the weak and poor.

Sounds like Rich VS. Poor to me!
