How many times will Bush promis to "cut the red tape". Must be some good tape! Where can I get some red tape?

Maybe that is intended to replace the duct tape used to hold the plastic down during a chemical attack.

I wonder how one cuts it? That must be some strong tape because it sure is everywhere and especially in Washington.

I've never understood why Congress buys so much pork. I never hear about beef, chicken or turkey. Always pork.

    What's going on over there?

The context he mentions refers to bureaucracy or what we call red tapism, not in the literal sense of the term!

    Any hardware store.

Meanwhile, eliminate all excess and useless government employees.

Big Government demands keeping all those workers busy creating needless documents and "make-work" procedures.

Home Depot, Lowes, probably Rite-Aid and any party store as well.
