Do I have a "gift"?
I have this knack for finding things. Items people have lost or misplaced. I also hear atleast twice a week from strangers that I look very familiar to them. Is this unusual?

Like you said, it's a knack...nothing more and nothing less.
I also am told constantly that I look familiar. It's coincidence.

Yes it is a gift. No it is not unusual. Keep doing it, avoid analysing it. This is a gift of left brain, and using rightbrain to reason it, might take the energy away from using your gift to analyzing why it happens.(Choose where you want to put your energy into).
Mind is more powerful than everyone usually think, know of it as. Put to good use, it can do miracles. Keep it up. Congratulations on your achievement. :-)
