Why do Mexicans keep knocking on my door and asking if there are any Mexicans living here?

Mexico is not having a census. In my area the same thing is happening. My city is experiencing a surge in the Mexican population. These people are trying to locate new Mexicans in town to inform them of all of the government services that are available and to help them receive all the services they can qualify for. And they say they are not here for the handouts!!!

Sounds like they are scouting out the neighborhood.

A couple of years ago, we had a new phone put in and I swear it was every day for months someone would call the number and start tol speak Spanish. We answered in English that the person the were looking for no longer had that number and we didn't understand Spanish.

They never put two and two together cause they kept on calling.

Finally I couldn't take the calls any longer and started to speak Hungarian to them until they got sick of me.

Some people have very thick skull.

I give up....is your house painted lime green or pink? Is there some guy with a sombrero sleeping propped against at tree in your front yard? Got goats? Do you drive an El Camino that has tassels hanging around the inside roof?

stop parking your truck on the lawn? just kidding , what do you mean we don't go knocking on doors , like a Jehovah witness church member, never seen that .
