Is this seriously in violation of Yahoo! Answers' Community Guidelines or Terms of Service?
Question: What's the deal with Atheists?
My answer: Ha, now they're going to give thumbs down as a show of protest...such losers...
Well, its true. Go to the Religion & Spirituality section and reply saying ANYTHING against atheists. They will mass thumbs down you. Its so hypocritical because when they are calling us dimwits who 'can't think for yourselves', we respond with love (well at least I do) and not stupid thumbs down.

In your answer you called them losers, is that loving?...I'm just wondering.
Insulting and calling derogatory names is against comm. guidelines. You did not respond with an answer, that is also against comm. guidelines.

Well you havent said anything too bad but you also didnt answer the question all you have said is that your going to get a thumbs down as a show of protest and then said that the question asker is a loser - you havent said anything about why your an Atheist (by the way I am also Athiest) but I believe that if people get some good or feel good from their belief system then thats great I also believe however that they should respect our belief not to believe in a god or follow a religion

I know, it's ridiculous how the enforcement of community guidelines is as consistent as the wind.
And so hypocritical is the implementation of the thumbs down toy. If I cared what people thought of my reply, I would ask. It's a pointless source of contention and abuse. At least it is consistent with their spineless attitude about accountability and covert moderation technique.
But talking to Yahoo about it is like teaching Physics to Paris Hilton.

I don't think it's a violation, as such. If your answer was reported, then I'd call it abuse of the report button. But I think thumbs down means diddly.
But I fail to see how calling them losers comes under the category of 'responding with love'. lol.
EDIT:
(((((Cat))))) I see you noticed the slight contradiction, too. lol

individually, i'm able to't see any subject with this. in spite of the shown fact that it incredibly is a probability whoever stated you thought you have been answering a homework question, this is in violation of the community regulations. in case you sense you have been stated unfairly, touch the customer care center and clarify your intentions. you have an ideal to make a case in case you sense your answer replaced into unfairly deleted. That exceeded off to me as quickly as and that i defended myself. My factors and answer have been restored after a customer help rep reviewed my case. it incredibly is probable the top results of the two customers attempting to police the cyber web internet site or trolls.

If you call atheists losers you are a loser yourself.Didn't your religion teach you not to judge anyone? How about insulting anyone? I think thumbs down are better than your insults.
I feel sorry for you.
Have a good day!

Thumbs down doesn't hurt anybody. It's about as damaging as making a thumbs down in real life.

Everybody has at some point had violations but no point moaning about it . At least you still have your account. Many people have been reported for trivial reasons and lost their accounts altogether. Don't be so sensitive about the thumbs down either, we all get them.

You probably should have left off the losers part. It might fall under #6 in the Do's and Dont's
#6 Don't Harass, threaten, insult, or behave belligerently towards others.

Calling people losers is how you respond with love? :)
Name-calling, if you want to get technical, is a violation of the terms of service. It's a bit silly, but there you go. Now play nice.

Dear friend,
You have to remember that we (Christians) are aliens and stranger in this world. We are going to be hated, maligned, cursed, abused, lied about, etc. The Lord sees it all.
Just keep giving out the the Gospel as a faithful steward. Check out this site: www.FamilyRadio.com. You can also hear it over the internet at www.FamilyRadio.org. There is a program in the evening called "Open Forum" where people call-in with their Bible questions and the host answers it from the Bible. I hope it is a blessing to you and encourages you.
