Why do some women not wearing modest apparell?

Are you saying women shouldnt wear braids, gold, or pearls? Think you might wanna read your BIBLE again mr. I Timothy

God wants you to have the best and um, gold and pearls sounds like the best to me.

Well, basicly so they can be attractive to men. The human body afterall is not evil afterall. I believe Christians believe the body is a temple. Well are not temples adorned with gold, ivory, jewels? Seriously, I cannot answer as regards Christian women.

for me, modest dressing means dressing appropriately for evey occassion. you can dress in a way that you will be covered from head to toe but still looked unmodest(if there is such a word), and on the other hand, you can dress in a sleeveless and mini skirt and look respectful. it is how you carry yourself.

and to further justify "dressing appropriately for evey occassion," personally, it means, dressing in skirts when going to church (in a manner acceptable to God's standards) and dressing in swimsuit in a swimming or beach party.

Because some of us live in the twenty first century and we feel our cloths are environmentally modest. It's hot I'll wear shorts. Deal with it.

Because nowadays it's illegal for a man to dictate what a woman wears and how she lives her life. Thankfully!

Bible declares that hooker can be known by haughty looks, eyelids and garments. Do hookers and promiscuous women wear such biblical makeup and garments?

Sirach 26:9-10. "The whoredom of a woman may be known in her haughty looks and eyelids. If thy daughter be shameless, keep her in straitly, lest she abuse herself through overmuch liberty."

"For from garments cometh a moth, and from women wickedness. Better is the churlishness of a man than a courteous woman, a woman, I say, which bringeth shame and reproach." (Sirach 42:13-14)

Why bible likes modest women when most of bible believers like promiscuous chicks.

Sirach 26:14-15."A silent and loving woman is a gift of the Lord: and there is nothing so much worth as a mind well instructed. A shamefaced and faithful woman is a double grace, and her continent mind cannot be valued."

Personal choice.. Isn't it great that I can choose to wear what feels good on me and you can choose to not look if you don't like it..

Women are sexy. Let them be. If, you're so worried, why don't you go to beaches wearing a bra and a panty? Yuch!
