I have little cuts on my hand. What will take away the stinging?

I scraped my hand up really bad today on a tree. It's not bleeding, but it still hurts when I bend my fingers.

Triple antibiotic ointment (Neosporin or one of the generic brands) can help ease some of the sting from the cut. I have found that using the triple antibiotic and a band aid does help it heal faster.

Put a triple antibiotic on the scrapes and wrap with a loose, tight woven bandage. Gauze might cause the scrapes more pain if it gets moved, but it'll work too.

Other than that, maybe a cool pack would help a little. Not cold or hot, just cool water bottle to soothe it a bit. Some people also use aloe, but make sure it's pure aloe without fragrances or the alcohol in it will cause more pain.

No Pain, No Gain - Clean the scrape with water (soap only if it is dirty), pour some hydrogen peroxide on it. Tell your child to move the scraped body part around every few minutes as to avoid sudden pain when moving it. Let nature take it's course, and don't peel the scab despite the urges to peel it off.

Antibiotic ointment such as Neosporin will work wonders. It takes away the pain and speeds healing.

wash it carefully, with dettol or something to stop infections, then apply an anticeptic cream with aloe vera.... this is a cooling agent and it relieves pain and burns as well as renews the skin... top stuff

  • apply some cream...best put on a bandage...or apply a bit of dettol(it will burn for few secs )and then ur fine...
