Is it good national policy for the US to spend more on the military than all other countries combined?

I think you already know the answer to this...otherwise you would not have asked it. Good national policy could be to rebuild our infrastructure (providing high paying jobs to Americans), re-vising health care so it is assessable to all, giving money to our schools so our kids get a fair chance to grow and we attract good teachers, dealing with the greed mentality of the elite of the of this country. After some point, if you "make it" why not give back....why not help those struggling to survive. Isn't that why we became "civilized". Just building bigger homes that sit vacant most of the year, using resources for what.....image....

The only ones wanting us to spend more on the military are invested in the war machine companies. Why...the shift of wealth is heading their way. If you aren't on the gravy train...tough. Those for this war are hand feeding the rich.
