In Jeepers Creepers 2 why does the dad throw the knife that the Creeper dropped in the corn field. I know that it had all the creepy stuff carved into but I still don't get it!

He doesn't throw it, it is drawn to the creeper, he uses it to track the creeper.

are u talking about the part where he is sitting in the chair after his son found it? if you are talking about that part, he dosnt throw it, it shoots out of his hand toward the wall
