Any one enjoying being single?

I am going to be 35 soon, and have enough money to early retire. I am at a point that I now am enjoying myself so much that I don't want to meet and date. Am I the only one? I am looking for answer from those who have been there. Is this bad for my future? Am I going to regret this later?

you sound like your doing what you want to! so good for you! its not so bad to settle down. its fun being in love. its not bad for your future, there are people less successful that have not settled down. as far as regreting this later, i dont know but you cant spend your life with someone right now if you are not ready! Good Luck

Well, I'm 22 and I'm single. I'm hoping to get married when I am able and ready to. Do I enjoy being single? Not really, but I can't really do much about that, because I'm not allowed by my religion to date and have premarital sexual relationships.

If I were you I'd get married instead of dating. Since you are apparently wealthy you should consider the idea of marriage. That's what I would do if I were you. Perhaps you should write down your thoughts, put down what are the pros and cons of being single or something like that. Or talk with a good friend, or ask a trusted relative, etc. OK, good luck to you.

I don't know I guess you can still find a nice lady in a couple of years after you have had your fun. perhaps you were too busy to have fun and enjoy the single life when you were younger cause you were working so much maybe i don't know just do what you feel is right for your life. If i was a guy i would probably do the same but I'm not so just have fun for me.

This is something you have to ask yourself truly. Yes you can enjoy the freedom no wife and kids, but that is a big opportunity that you may regret if you pass it up. I am sure there are others like you. Try dating and see if you can find that special someone.

I'm with you. I'm also in my late 30's and find that being single is a whole lot easier than making a relationship work. I've seen many of my friends go through a relationship every other month. Marriage? that's a whole other story, so no, you're not the only one.

I'd rather be happy and alone, than be miserable and with someone.

you are 35 and no more dating? what the hell is wrong with you? what about wife? kids? family? all the family experiences? you live only once and you are gonna miss out on the best thing in life. get your *** up, find a wife, and enjoy life!

If you don't want to date right now, there's nothing wrong with that. What you'll really regret is searching desperately for someone to be with just because you don't want to be alone. That's a real recipe for misery. My advice would be to wait until it feels right.

you are going to regret it later on because i cant believe you are 35 and single thats just weird you are going to be a 40 year old virgin if you dont date quickly
