First, congratulations on your pending nuptials!!
Second, in answer to your question ..
My all-time favorite song is "Everything I Do (I do it for you)” by Bryan Adams, although my favorite singer is Tim McGraw. :) I think "Everything I Do (I Do it for You) is a beautiful wedding song.
Other choices are:
"My Best Friend" by Tim McGraw (even if you don't like country, this is a beautiful song!)
"Sunrise, Sunset" (from Fidler on the Roof)
"From this Moment " by Shania Twain
"Because you Loved Me" Celine Dion
"True Colors" by Cyndi Lauper or the Phil Collins version
"What a Wonderful World" by Louis Armstrong
" I Finally Found Someone" Bryan Adams or Barbra Streisand
"In My Life" by the Beatles
Instrumental:
Kenny G's "A Wedding Song"
If your father is walking you down the aisle, and is particularly emotional:
Butterfly Kisses
Dance With My Father Luther Vandross
Father & Daughter Paul Simon
Have I Told You Lately Van Morrison

I was listening to "From This Moment On" by Shania Twain the other day and got the most perfect idea for walking down the aisle to it. In case you haven't heard the song before, there's a part around the middle, near the end where violins (and, depending on which version, an electric guitar) pick up and it's very dramatic. Have all the attendants walk down the aisle to the beginning of the song and, when the dramatic part kicks in, the bride walks down the aisle.

I walked down to "Lost in this moment with you" by Big and Rich. I was a little nervous because I had never been to a wedding where the bride walked down to the traditional song. I had so many compliments about how beautiful the song was! Now when I hear it on the radio I get chills.
Good luck and congratulations!

I always said if I ever got married then the song I would pick for walking down the aisle to would be - Shania Twain's "From This Moment On".
Not from the British version of the cd which was "Popified!!!"
but from the Canadian/American version ( which you can import). On this one she does a duet and it's a MUCH better version.

This Never Happened Before, by Paul McCartney, from his album called Chaos and Creation In The Backyard. It was also the song that Sandra Bullock and Keanu Reeves danced to in The Lakehouse. Absolutely beautiful.

An old song that I know that was used a lot back in the day was "We've only just begun" by a group called The Carpenters.
The song starts:
"We've only just begun, white lace and promises, a kiss for luck and were on our way"
It is different, but old school

Bitter Sweet Symphony by The Verve, an instrumental version maybe or Pachelbel's Canon in D Major.
