Do mines have Emergency Stations?

In light of the many Mine cave ins - I am wondering if these mines are equipped with strategically places emergency stations with water bottles and survival food (energy bars at least) in the event of a collapse, so that potential survivors can get get by for several days.

I'm almost positive there are OSHA-type requirements for mine safety, which would prescribe such stations as you described. But it probably also depends on the integrity of the company to actually follow-through with such things. It may depend how how good the inspection process is, amount of corruption, etc.

With every day pass, our country is getting into more and more trouble. The inflation, unemployment and falling value of dollar are the main concern for our Government but authorities are just sleeping, they don’t want to face the fact. Media is also involve in it, they are force to stop showing the real economic situation to the people. I start getting more concern about my future as well as my family after watching the response of our Government for the people that affected by hurricane Katrina.

According to recent studies made by World Bank, the coming crisis will be far worse than initially predicted. So if you're already preparing for the crisis (or haven't started yet) make sure you watch this video at http://www.familysurvival.tv/ and discover the 4 BIG issues you'll have to deal with when the crisis hits, and how to solve them fast (before the disaster strikes your town!) without spending $1,000s on overrated items and useless survival books.

I'm an ex-marine and a decorated war-prisoner, I fought in 7 wars for more than 20 years. Let me congratulate you for your work. This is the best survival guide I read so far. It's exactly what a normal person should know and can learn easily to get himself and maybe others out of a life and death situation https://tr.im/yIKXy

Everywhere in the world except the United States and China. Finally, we are on a par with the Chinese. Or, is it the reverse? I don't think it matters to a miner in China or the US who is awaiting rescue. Assuming they are still alive when rescue arrives?
