PAY ATTENTION: I would like to know the speed of an actual thought, not a complete thought, but the speed at which the process starts - and NOT the physiological reaction time. Does anyone understand? I seen this question before - BUT the answerer failed to realize what was REALLY being asked.

How fast does that initial SPARK of thought travel in terms of seconds or milliseconds. Is it as fast as light or faster.

I am NOT interested in Reaction time of body jerk or complete frame of thought - but that initial spark. We speak to each other and instantly the thought process begins so we can carry conversation back and forth. Understand?

In light of the many Mine cave ins - I am wondering if these mines are equipped with strategically places emergency stations with water bottles and survival food (energy bars at least) in the event of a collapse, so that potential survivors can get get by for several days.

My ISP provider says that my incoming email from a friend and a relative, is not being blocked. However some of their emails never make it to me. AND some of my email never makes it to them.

Their ISP providers say no one is being blocked or filtered on their end either. If non of them are lying - what the heck is happening to those emails? For the record - neither my friend or relative send SPAM and neither do I.

There are plenty of homeless across the country and the shelters are usually full. The cold in many places are killer especially at night when the temperature dip way down. Can you suggest ways to help those souls on the street stay warm?

I am really confused here. I am told that Muslims believe that Muhammad was the one true and last prophet - BUT - he mentioned a Mahdi who will be like him, and I assume that to mean he will be a Muslim Prophet. This is most confusing.

Is Muhammad the last prophet or not? If he is - what is this Mahdi dude (besides being Muhammad's nephew) what is his position? teacher? law giver? what? He's not a prophet?

We went through my Grandfather's documents and found a 1920s 1000 German Mark (worn along the bottom edge)..., and some U.S. War Ration Books for food distribution. I cant recall exactly but I think the German Mark was dated 1929.

Does anyone know what the exchange value (or even collectors value?) of this German Mark - AND if there is any collectors value to these US War Ration Books. Very few of the food ration stamps were used.

When Jesus returns and sets up his kingdom - obviously he will expound the heart and soul of truth, settling all arguments about the Gospel once and for all. However do you also believe he will teach mankind new technologies and new ways of doing things?

As for myself I believe he will. I don't think we will traverse the stars because the Earth is man's domain (according to scriptures) but I think he will show new forms of transportation, better ways to produce foods to feed the world's starving and things like that. I understand that some people actually think we will be riding donkeys and living in lime-stone homes and tents as per the Bible times, which I find silly reasoning.

Non the less, I would not balk at whatever Jesus brings us. Now that you have my view, I am asking for your opinion on this subject.

To those who believe the Big Bang. Many of you have posted things to us about how we would act with absolute proof of the Earth being older than we believe. Can you honestly answer the following question without being sarcastic....,

"What if one day there came proof that the Earth is only 6,000 to 12,000 years old - would the larger science community (and you) still buck and snort, refusing to change the history and educational science books?"

I am not declaring anything here one way or the other. I am just asking a question.

I can walk, maybe walk at a fast pace but not run - so needless to say I wont be doing any splits or round-house kicks. Its more for health than self defense, even so defense is always a handy tool to have.

As Muslims murder Muslims, there is not global Islamic outcry, just a HANDFUL of self declared Muslims (usually Americanized Muslims that the Middle East Islam doesn't give credence to).

And now we hear and have confirmation that those two kidnapped Journalists were FORCED at gun point to convert to Islam. STILL there is no massive outcry against this. In my opinion, Muslims approve of this obscene tactic.

A person WILLINGLY converting to Islam is one thing and perfectly understandable - but when they are tortured and forced at gun point or threat of death to convert - NOT EVEN CHRISTIANS, nor Buddhists or most other religions (except maybe Hindi) do this.

Any conversion done under torture or at gun point is NEVER from the heart. Jesus did not command to force conversion, but in Islam it is permissible. If Muslims object, then WHY not a public outcry against force conversions? Why? Islam is not peaceful as I see it.

I just want the Jewish thought on hell and the lake of fire. The typical Christian sectarian thoughts gets twisted with the lake of fire - the lake of fire is forever and ever - but hell (hades) is a holding cell.

So I am really wondering what the JEWISH (only Jewish) thoughts are on the matter based on traditions taught in the Synagogues. This is not a judgmental question nor am I baiting - but a sincere desire to know.

As I was saying.., or asking.., why is it when Christians tell the truth even to one's hurt (not covering for someone) we are berated and hated - BUT - when the world ASSUMES (wrongly) we are telling lies, we are still berated and hated?

YET Society admits it is wrong to lie, but they lie in contradiction to their own secular state of morality and these assume everyone lies as well - even dictating what constitutes a lie. Is it because they are expert liars they feel comfortable with establishing what constitutes white lies? speaking as of which, what is an extreme lie? Black lie? Red lie? Purple?

This is the first time in growing any kind of anything. My Bottle Gourds start out fine but before they start to really develope good, they either turn yellow and fall off or turn Black! and die.

The vines look healthy - and I water them everyday. I mixed potting soil with barn dirt to counter our sandy soil. I even treat them with "Miracle Grow". What is the problem?
