Have you ever asked a question of God or friends when you were in the heat of anger?
and gotten the answer you needed?
to rephrase: Stand there, either alone, yelling at the sky. Or amongst friends, yelling at them all. Your anger about something. That you phrased as a question.

I was recently very angry with my friend Andrew.. I asked him "Were you born stupid or did it develop over time?" to which he replied "It developed over time, luckily I got stupid enough to be your friend just in time to meet you."
Talk about a show stopper I immediately was at a lose for words..
It's exactly what i needed to hear it broke the tension and we were able to work out our argument... I apologized for calling him stupid he laughed it off and assured me he knew I didn't mean it I was just angry..
Andrew and I often find we are of different opinions, most often we work it out without anger that particular day I was looking for a fight and found Andrew.. LOL

Martin;
The whole CWG series began with Neale Walsh being fed up. I can here it now. "Do you really want to know, or are you just venting".
To me, the response was impeccible. Removed of the force of anger and yet not unmoved.
And so was the Venting. The force of a true question of Life doesn't always come out nicely articulated; but real, none the less.
Anger is but a mask, hardly considered a truth in the cosmos which always sees the heart.

Evidence shows that the "answers" God gives have absolutely nothing to do with prayer. It might seem this way if you are only counting the times you get your way as evidence for it. Pray that you will flip a coin heads ten times in a row, and if you really believe in prayer then this shouldn't be a problem. You can say it tests God, and that it bad. But the bible clearly states that if you ask for it in prayer that it will be given to you. There isn't any "yes no maybe" stuff mentioned in the bible.

Mother Nature works that way... religions have infected the spiritual balance of the earth.. mother nature works with or through emotions... She put into our own mouths our information... that is why when we are depressed and thngs often talking about things.. like a sounding board, works best.. cause what we need is there... that is why we hear women tell men... I just want to talk I don't need you to solve the problem for me... women who surpress their emotions less are more intune with her ways... there's a lot of work she's done against religions this is one of the effects... she says the only thing that qualifies as sin on earth is religions that is why there is no religions in her name she would destroy any religion like that because she is against slavery.....

LOL!!!!! Yes indeed, just the other night actually, and then I had to go back out and yell at God some more.
I knew I was finished when I heard a voice say..... 'Yes, I have always told you that you can put anything, anything at all at my feet, and I will take it from you with joy.....'
then I dropped my ranting little head, and wept.....

Whenever I experience anger, I always ask myself, why am I angry? What are my reasons of my anger. Am I justified that I got angry. In other words I process myself especially my motivation, the causes, my attitude toward something that trigger me to be angry. Is it worthwhile to be angry? I calm myself first and enter into my innermost being and then process myself. After processing I pray to God for forgiveness and patience that I may not repeat what I experienced. I try to find ways and means to heal myself. I go the person whom my anger is directed and tell him/her of my anger because to dialogue for me is one of the possibility for healing. In this way I don't keep anger in my heart because it is poison and I will be affected when I keep it. And if there is a possibility to approach the Sacrament of Reconciliation for complete healing.

No matter what you pray to, God or a milk jug, what you pray for has 3 possible choices: 1) happen 2) not happen 3) happen later. In the law of probability, one of those three WILL happen, no matter what. So if you pray for whatever, like a million dollars, it will either happen soon, never happen, or happen later on.
To answer your question, no. Prayer is worthless.

I usually have to quiet my mind/emotions before Spirit will answer. Spirit generally won't waste the time trying to yell over my ego!

Yes and the answer always seemed to be calm down, relax and breath deep which in retrospect was what I needed.
