I decided to stop drinking my 1.75 liters of whiskey every other day and I wanted to prove and show God how much I cared for him and wanted his help. He knows how hard it was for me to walk myself back in his house. I have since been developing a true relationship with Him. I've been running the lyrics on the overhead recently and feel needed and loved after all my so called friends dissapeared along with my partying. I have come so far so quickly.

I went ever since I was young, like about 5 years old. And been going ever since for 10 more years. But when I was younger all I did was go to church for friends and fun. I never really payed attention at church. Not until recently did I accept God. I mean I did know God existed but then I actually understand what life is for. I can't really explain. But I'm so happy because now I feel much closer to God than before. And I want to be best friends with God.

    God Bless you too.

We didn't go much as a family when we were younger because my brothers didn't want to. My parents gave them the option of continuing with their Catecism or stopping it and they chose to stop. When I was six I had never even attended a church. Then I was over a friends house who belonged to a church and she had Choir practice. I tagged along and soon after that I found myself there every Sunday with her singing in the Choir and playing in the Bell Choir. Then I joined Catecism, went through my first Communion, had a Confirmation and now I'm fifteen years old. That was ten years ago. So grateful that I had the oppurtunity to find out what God was.

I've attended church since infancy. It's one of the first public places I was taken after I was born. I was born into a staunchly Catholic family, and was taken to church very frequently by my mother. After my parents died when I was in my teens, I kept going to church, and also started visiting many other types of churches. I attended both Christian and non-Christian religious services, because I believe in learning firsthand about the beliefs of others. I'm an adult now, and am Catholic not only because I was raised in the church, but by choice and preference. I enjoyed going to church as a child, and I still enjoy it now.

My mother was the organist and my father led the singing, so I was doomed from the start.
