86 S-10 Blazer Door jam switch?
The door Jam switch needs replacing in my Blazer and I can't find out how to get to it. I have a service manual but it doesn't cover that subject. I can't get to it from under the hood or under the fender. Obviously something will have to be removed, but I don't know where to start.

Open the door and look along the door jam where the door fits. The door jam switch will be along this area. If you will get a replacement switch from the parts store, then you will know what you are looking for. They are rather easy to replace. Just don't drop the wires that plug to it, or you will have to disassemble some of the interior to fish them out.

It is in the door jam.
You need to remove the interior plastic and it has a nut that holds it in place, it is probably a bad connection - these switches rarely go bad.
