  • Back up camera on Buick?

I bought a wired B/U camera for my 2008 Buick Lucerne with the intention of installing it myself. After looking into the wiring system I begin to have my doubts. Can anyone give me some pointers on this? I still think I can do it with a bit of instructions. The instructions that came with it were skimpy at best. I know the connections I need are:

1 - hot wire from back up light for camera + ground (find the bulb and connect the wire. I think I can do that)

2 - hot wire and ground + reverse hot wire and ground for monitor. (The big problem)

The rest is just connecting the two units together with the cable. Finding the connections up front on the Buick is my problem.

  • Can I swap a 4.3 engine for a 2.8 in my Chev S-10 Blazer?

I have a 1986 Chevy S-10 Blazer that is in very good condition. The only objection I have is the 2.8 V-6 engine does not have enough power. The later models went to a 4.3 V-6. How much trouble is it to swap the engine for the 4.3?

  • What to do with coasters?

I have overburned or otherwise ruined many CD and DVD Disk in my time. Now they are taking up space and I wondered what I could do with them that would be creative. I have already made frig magnets out of a few, but there are only so many pictures I can stand on my frig. Really, they don't make very good coasters.

  • 86 S-10 Blazer Door jam switch?

The door Jam switch needs replacing in my Blazer and I can't find out how to get to it. I have a service manual but it doesn't cover that subject. I can't get to it from under the hood or under the fender. Obviously something will have to be removed, but I don't know where to start.

  • Is there any logic to this?

I recently answered a PC question. Later, I checked back to find out what was the best answer. The person who won best answer advised the questioner to use a certain program to solve the problem. The questioner chose this answer and then stated that the "program does not work". Please, can anyone find the logic in this?

  • Can you help my 1999 Buick La Sabre ?

Sometimes when I try to start my car the security light stays on and it won't do anything. I take the key out of the ignition switch and wait for about 5 or 10 minutes and the light goes out. Then it will start. This has been going on for about a year now and none of the dealers seem to know what's wrong. It only happens about once a month and I am tired of it sitting at the shop for days while they try to get it to do it's thing without results. HELP!

  • How do I voice a complaint to NASCAR?

Why didn't NASCAR follow their own rules and throw the caution flag on the 500? Mark Martin should have been the winner of the race. They have done it in other races, why not this one?
