Why do people who know you don't like them ask for favors??

She has B A L L S!Ever hear the term "beggars cant be choosers"? She obviously has no shame to ask you for a favor. And no, you were not wrong to tell her she is out of place. Those who ask for favors, should be in the position to either have done a favor for you OR can help you in the future. So you obviously have nothing to gain by helping her.

what goes around comes around is what i say. she reported u for being too happy?? lol sounds like she is jealous ur life is positive. i hope u didnt get reprimanded. i wouldve laughed in her face if she asked me for a discount, i wouldve been like " i should do u a favor after u reported me?" hahahahahah good one! u were so in the right.

Personally I would have probably helped her out but would have made it clear I was not doing the favour for her but for her church. In other words, don't ask for personal favours because they will not be forthcoming.
