I recently had nose surgery, and now I look completely different, can i sue the doctor?

On the first week of March of this year, I had an injury to my nose. I didn't believe my nose to be broken so I just let it heal on its own. Later on, I go on to have problems breathing through my nose. I go to an ENT doctor and decide to have nasal surgery to correct a deviated septum.

I used to have a really nice nose with my family's signature "bump" on the bridge of the nose. Last night, my husband told me I no longer had the bump. I was under the impression that I would go back to my original look before the injury. Now I look completely different. I'm very upset. What are my options?

I broke every bone in my face, and im happy to look "normal"

You have no recourse because you don't have a bump that you used to have. Can you sue because you have a scar from a surgery? No, these things come with the territory. The only thing you could do would be to get plastic surgury, but there won't be gaurantees with that either. I am sorry you are upset, but you probably will lose if you tried to sue. Good luck.

I doubt that you have a case. Whether the "bump" going away was a result of the trauma or was part of the septum that had to get moved around to fix your breathing problem, it is logically an unavoidable consequence.

Being under the "impression" that you would have your original look is not the same as being guaranteed either.

And what would you sue for? Damages? How is NOT having a bump on your nose harmful to you? Move on, dear.
