Are the Poles the nicest people ever to arrive in the UK?

The majority of Poles are great people.

I would say they aren't the worst or the best. They tend to keep themselves to themselves but i some cases the guzzle up the perks and cause problems. I think there are other nationalities which are 'the nicest people EVER to arrive in the UK'

excluding the Romans of course :p

they are more remote viewers, who will watch peoples actions.. then speak in their own language like many more people. if they are in the uk, they should speak english in mixed company. my indian mechanic does it and he doesn't relise i know half of what he's saying, although i haven't let on yet.

i've met people from all over the world who are idiots.. so u can't put it down to race.. u can put it down to how they are as people

the poles who were supposed to be plastering a friends ceiling did a runner after 1 day.. so in some cases , NOT ALL the thing about them working hard is rubbish, given that example.

The Irish are nice, the West Indians are just fantastic, apart from the rouge elements.

If history was not so unkind to these people they would be a world power - their country has so much potential now. Give it time and we will be looking for work in Poland!

No, a lot of them are nice people, but there is a large group of scumbags and human filth among them. They're government is just shipping the worst overseas to avoid having to provide welfare for their lives.

Over here they have to work, but once they're let into the welfare system, just you wait. If you're worried about chav's and council estate leeches, get ready for war.

No disrespect to Poles but if you put it this way: "ever to arrive"...I think you're forgetting the Romans.

I'm Polish and I like to think I'm a good person. Of course, I could be wrong. But, I'm not an immigrant. My grandparents were many years ago.

They are very unassuming and quiet people yes, but it is not wise to generalise. One day they too will learn from the Brits around them how to act and they will change.
