We are not safe at all.If the Homeland Security really wanted the job done, it would be done. They spend more time checking out the passengers who are flying with legal passports then they do checking out who is working at the airport.

No, we are not safe at all. All 9/11 did was make it so we could become a police state with cameras on all stop lights as well as it impossible to travel without hassles.

Chertoff is a tool. He deserves ZERO respect when he sends memos (this was Sept of 2005) which state to the people under him that DHS does not answer to the American people, they answer to Mexico and Canada. I have the articles which back this up...they got the memo's through freedom of information act.

the illegal immigrants (with the exception of some very radical groups) wish no harm upon the american society. so there really is no major threat there concerning terrorist attacks.

the only thing we have to worry about are extremists which are very small in proportion to the world. we should have no problem fighting that sort of crowd, however, the occasional slip-up does occur
