What effect do you think this will have on our culture? I think it will have a counter effect and morepeople will ignore the implications and turn to religion. Most people just aren't equipped to cope with out the security of religion.

Religions will die out within 60 years from now.
And Science doesn't give a sh*t about anyone's beliefs.
It reveals what it can, and it will.

Who knows? Most likely it'll be more of like an altered form of existing life. Something that lives in a petri dish and you'd need a microscope to see. If it works at all.

I think the time frame is short. I'd guess 20-50 years.
The implications are trivial. It will enable some research models, but little social impact will be felt.

Check out Drudge.com........it talks about this very thing. I personally don't think it will happen....but who knows?
