Will the Baltimore Ravens finish the 2007 season with a winning record?
After a very soft schedule in 2006 and a number of breaks allowing them to win at least 3 additional games, the Ravens fan base is convinced that they can repeat with a winning record. I contend that the ultra conservative play calling from Billick and a complete lack of an offense will lead to a 7 win and 9 loss record.

They have no offense, an aging defense, no QB & a play list from the 80's. They'll be lucky to hit 8-8.

I think you're underrating them. I'd be shocked if the Ravens miss the playoffs, but I have also already called the Bengals to win their division. I think the Ravens will be a strong AFC wild card team.
Their offense isn't THAT bad--Clayton is a rising star, and McGahee is a big upgrade at RB from Lewis. The offense also suffered last year because Jim Fassel was such an awful OC that he actually got fired midseason (which is almost unheard of).
I'm guessing that you aren't much of a Ravens fan, but I think you're wrong about them this year.

I think they could easily win 10 games. Their defense is the best in the league. No way will they win 13 games but they'll win enough to make it to the playoffs.

I think that the ravens will not only have a winning record but they will take the division, the conference and dare i say it but the championship as well

Sorry...I am guessing they will be in a dogfight for the division and at worst get to 9-7 and a possible wildcard...

tough call they have a tougher schedule this year. mnair will get hurt and boller is not that valuable. this will be a decline for the ravens. i can see them getting MAYBE 7. but not more than that. certainly not a playoff team behind bengals and steelers

easily. there de is the best in the league. They added willis, and there young recievers are getting alot better. i think they will get 11-12 wins this year and maybe a superbowl appearence

Yeah, duh!! Steve, Willis, Ray, Ed, Todd, Chris, Terrell, Samari, and Derrick!! They are going to win a minimum of 10 games. Hard to lock them as division winners, but it's also hard to go against them!!
