Two simple true or false questions!?

1. Americans are real good at practical Math applications: Making do useful work.

True or false!

2. Americans are lousy at theoretical Math. They care less how a formula is derived.

True or false.

Update:

That's for the answers. Had one of my teacher tell me that when I was going to school over seas. I'd asked her what good was theorums since they were not laws because they weren't right 100% of the time.

Then I notice when I'd have to turn my lab classes of to my T.A.'s inorder to teach a Math class that as long as I could relate it to an engineering problem the students were all eye balls and ears. But as soon as got into theorums it was ho hum like they could care less.

    I'm american and I'm the oppisite, if I don't figure out why a therum works I can't use it without freaking out.

    the 1st one is fake,the 1st one replaced into theory and somebody mentioned that to describe the nutrition chain..yet its been rejected. in some levels that's right in spite of the shown fact that it does not clarify the the entire chain.. > basically think of approximately this....that's right that the quantity of flowers and eco-friendly stuff are plenty greater than herbivores yet herbivores do no longer consume all eco-friendly stuff.they only consume specific style of flowers which we don't have particularly some them (cuase others incorporate poison, have a bad style...) however the 2d is right.
