A true friend , that is a good question.
Someone who will stand by you no matter what
Someone who is there when you need them
Someone who you can confide in knowing they wont go around talking about your private conversations
Someone you can trust
Someone you care about and who cares about you
Someone who you can hang with and have a good time

and a true friend is someone who keeps promises and is nice and is fun to hang out with
