No, not if you are a US citizen. If you are a US citizen you can travel anywhere in the US without a passport. You will need a photo ID though, usually a driver's license.

You do not need a passport if you travel from one state in the USA to any other state within the USA.

not if you are a US citizen. If you are here from another country on a visa then take your passport just in case but you usually don't need it. you don't go through customs when traveling from one us state to another.

If you are a US citizen then no, you don't. If you are not a US citizen then you don't need anything beyond the documentation that you need to get into the US.
