Hey, I'll tell you what may surprise people this season, and that's the awesomeness of the San Francisco 49ers, they're coming back. Walt Harris was tied for second in the league in interceptions last year, they got Nate Clements in, Patrick Willis will be starting, all defensive players will be healthier.

Their offensive line had major issues with injuries last year and Gore still nearly got 1700 yds. Larry Alan, Jonas Jennings and Eric Heitmann are already strong and Joe Staley is at least pressuring Kwamme Harris' position, which is making both players stronger.

Vernon Davis broke his leg last year, this year he is back. Darrell Jackson and Ashlie Lelie were acquired in the off season, and Arnaz Battle continues to get better.

Alex Smith had a 1-11 TD/INT ratio his first season, last year he was 16-16, with that drastic of an improvement you're left wondering what he'll be like this season. I can tell you he looked sharper than sharp in his two preseason games.

And then of course there's Frank Gore. (End of sentence)

Factor in all these improvements with the fact that this 7-9 team beat an otherwise playoff bound Denver in their last game of the season. This team has an overwhelming positive energy to it. No more T.O. no more Antonio Bryant, they're all gone. This team has a lot to prove. Now consider the fact they have an easy division and an easy schedule. I can tell you that I expect nothing less than double digits in their win category.

And thanks for asking a good/relevant question. It's a refreshing change from the typical "Vick", "Who's going to win the super bowl" and "How much do the Raiders suck" questions.

Sorry but drama is Da DaDa JaMarcus Russell. Whats up with this guy?

I'd like to be inside the negotiation on this one. I want to know who is being the pain in the ***. He's the number one pick give him 45 million for 6 years because that's the norm. I don't see why he should wont more.

I don't like Notre Dame but I would like to see Quinn get the start in Cleveland and do well.

I think Reggie Bush will be more adjusted to the speed of the NFL and be able to have bigger runs this season.

    I cant wait

I think the Buccaneers are going to explode because they added a legit #1 QB in Garcia, and they have upgraded their defense with June and Adams. I think the surprise player will be Randy Moss. He is going to be a top 5 five receiver again, and that will all be because of Tom Brady throwing him the ball, not Andrew Walter.

Surprise team: Arizona. They finally have some tools to win games and be a little competitive. Life for up and comers in the AFC isn't easy right now.

    Favorite Team: Denver Broncos

Bronco Pros: With the addition of Travis Henry in the backfield the Broncos will finally have their running game back ala the days of Terrell Davis. The addition of Dre Bly is a huge improvement to a already impressive secondary is going to be an opposing teams QB killer.

Bronco Cons: The defensive line. Given said secondary above teams are going to exploit the fact that the Broncos are have hard times stopping the run. The Broncos continue to sign "veteran" has beens who just don't seem to perform. The loss of Al Wilson is a sharp blow to the linebacker core. DJ Williams is struggling with his transition to the middle line backer spot thus complicating the stopping the run issue. The O-line could use some polishing as well.

Bronco Hope fulls: The signing of Simeon Rice and Jeremiah Trotter. Rice at to put pressure on opposing QBs and run protection and Trotter for run protection.

Although a devoted Broncos fan overall I have to give them a B-.

suprise.. I'll go with Atlanta.. I think they'll win more than folks think they will.. everyone is so concerned with Vick that they overlook 2 great backs behind a run oriented line.. the acquisition of Joe Horn will give Harrington someone to miss most of the time but he'll snag a few.. and defensively the falcons usually are above par.. I think they at least match last years 8-8 mark and make everyone forget about Vick.. and also a suprise will be Petrino.. guys just an awesome coach.. he was good at Auburn.. good at Louisville.. he's never been a loser coach.. I expect good things out of him..

also a suprise.. I think one of the "Superbowl favorites" will bust almost as collosally as the Yankee's have.. and with no real reason to think it.. just that it's time for them to come back down to earth a little.. Im referring to the Patriots.. that team is 1 injury away from Raiderville.. also a suprise.. Indy will barely scrape into the playoffs with absolutely no defense

breakout.. Jason Campbell.. the guy has a cannon.. and deep threat wide receivers.. he'll put up some big numbers. both with the arm and his feet..

and favorite team.. the Titans.. I have no idea what they are doing in Nashville.. VY is great but who's he going to throw it to? Bennett?.. no real deep threat.. lost starting CB/KR Pacman Jones.. no one knows who'll start at RB.. the defense has been traded off basically.. so I'm skeptical.. but Fisher tends to pull out a decent season anyways.. so we'll see
