Why do kids never run out of energy?

For the past week, i've been getting the kids up at 7am to get them ready for the new school year, and it's now after 9 pm and they are still not tired or wanting to go to bed...we have ran around all day, went to three different parks, went to there open houses for school, i am so drained and so so tired, why oh why do kids never seem to run out of energy?....

I don't know! Probably once you get them back on a routine they'll start getting tired around the same time.

Make them wash the dishes and see if they won't want to go to bed.
