Do you think that Bill Wirtz should sell the blackhawks?

Ephriam ... my heart goes out to you.

This guy has done everything possible to kill the game in Chicago. Taking the game off TV for decades ensures that generations of kids barely know the Hawks exist. I used to be a hawks fan because at one time before the junior draft NHL teams sponsored their own OHL teams, and I live in the city where Hull, Mikita, Esposito, Pilote and dozens others played their junior hockey.

But I gave up years ago because I realized Wirtz's only concern is how much cash he can make at the gate. He took the game off TV because the thought people would stay home and watch instead of buying tickets for the game. And now he's paying for it.

If I was a member of the players' union ... which is in partnership now with the NHL for revenues ... I'd try to sue this guy for killing revenues in Chicago by doing nothing to grow the fan base.

Do not even get me started on this jag off... if the NHL was smart, and they are losing fans.... they would purchase the team (an original six mind you) from Dollar Bill and market them to get the fans back. Chicago is the greatest major city in this country, better than NY and LA for bunch of reasons I'm not even gonna get into (maybe one- we're clean) and there is a HUGE market for hockey here as it was in the past with the likes of Bobby Hull.

If not, can the Blackhawks sell Bill Wirtz? Maybe we can get Chico Maki to slam him into the boards and knock some sense into him.

Maybe not the Hawks, But they should deffinantly sell a team like Pheonix to bring back an old team in Canada.
