Disney Restaurants?
We are going to Disney World in Orlando next June for our honeymoon. We are purchasing the Disney Deluxe Dining Plan--three service meals and two snacks per day.
Are there any really great restaurants that anyone can recommend? My fiancee especially loves prime rib--steak and seafood places are at the top of our list.
Also, has anyone been to the Spirit of Aloha Show, at the Disney Polynesian Resort?

My wife and I did a Disney honeymoon as well 14 years ago, and it was the best decision we ever made. We could have gone to Hawaii or someplace and sat on a beach for a week, but nowhere is like going to Disney. You guys will have a great time!
First of all I have not found a restaurant in Disney that I haven't liked. There are a couple of really good steak places in Disney. My favorite is Le Cellier in Canada in the World Showcase at Epcot Center. They have great food and outstanding service. There is also a pretty good steakhouse in the Contemporary resort. For extreme elegance Victoria and Albert's in the Grand Floridian is an award winning restaurant. If you like seafood check out Fulton's Crab House in Downtown Disney. We ate there Easter Sunday last year and absolutely loved it. As for the price I expected it to be high, but the bill was reasonable for what we had. Those are only a couple of examples.
I have been to the Spirit of Aloha show at the Polynesian and I loved it. The food was pretty good (and definitely interesting) and the show is also very good. I would recommend the dinner show for sure. Also, the Whoop de Do Musical review is a great dinner show. It is a fun country style show with family style cooking. We had a blast when we were there last.
My suggestion for more places to eat is to check out the Disney website. They have a dining finder that is easy to use and will tell you what you need to know for great food. Also, check out the disboards. The disboards is a message board website that is all about going to Disney from people who go often and know what they are talking about. I have found resort reviews, dining reviews, suggestions on where to eat, tips for beating the crowds, trip reports, and much more on the site. I take my family often to Disney and consider my self a Disney veteran, but I always find out a new tidbit of info on the disboards.
Hope this helps, have a great honeymoon and congratulations!!

We like the Chrystal palace for breakfast, Liberty Tree Tavern for lunch and dinner, both at MK.
EPCOT has a bunch or places, there is a sea food place in the seas with nemo and friends, the Japanese pavilion and Le Cellier in Canada is supposed to be the best steak house on the property.
At the studios Sci Fi Drive inn is great, and 50's Prime time Cafe is another one I have heard good things about.
Animal kingdon is the park thats lacking a bit but there is a new place opening soon, Yak and Yeti I believe.
Look at the Disney website, www.disney.go.com and see everything they have to offer, there is so much, make sure you do character dining at least once its lots of fun. And book as soon as your able to, places fill up fast.

Congratulations on your upcoming wedding!!
You will love ALL the restaurants at Disney World. There are so, so many. I would recommend that you invest in a good guide book that will help you make decisions. Try PassPorter guide to Walt Disney World or Birbaum's guide to Walt Disney World. Both are excellent sources of restaurant descriptions!
My personal favorite is Le Cellier Steakhouse in the Canada Pavilion in Epcot. And I went to the Spirit of Aloha dinner show in 2005. It was a fun experience.
Since it will be your honeymoon, you should consider taking one of the special tours..such as Backstage Magic, or Around the World on a Segway!!
Also check out this website (if you haven't already)

An easy answer is to check out www.allearsnet.com. It has a section where you can check out menus to restaurants and even prices. They also have a review section where people have put reviews on places they have eaten at.
Some of my personal favorites are ... The Crystal Palace at the Magic Kingdom (breakfast), The Sci-Fi Drive in at the MGM Studios, and The Whispering Canyon at the Wilderness Lodge resort. I haven't eating at the Animal Kingdom lodge but I hear that the Boma restaurant is really good. I have also heard great reviews of the Spirit of Aloha Show.
Whichever you choose make sure you make priority seating as soon as it is made available to you... I think 180 days before your trip. With the growing popularity of the dining plan, it's VERY hard to just walk up and get a table. Priority seating is a must.
Good luck and happy planning!

Take full advantage of your plan-eat at the most expensive table service! Best steak place- Le Cellier in Epcot (Canada) and seafood -the Coral Reef in Epcot (the Land) eat at Ohana (at the Polynesian resort) the inside dinner is out of this world!!! their character breakfast is GREAT too! I ate at the Spirit of Aloha but didnt like sitting at the same table as other people and i didnt like the food as much as Ohana. I LOVE the ribs at Sci-Fi in MGM and the meatloaf is amazing at 50's prime time cafe. Go to www.alllearsnet.com and look up dining by each park and also read reviews-they have TONS of reviews of each restaurant--even quick serve places. You can even read partial menus for each restaurant and their prices. Make reservations asap!

try the California grill. on top of the contemporary resort-wonderful food, several good steaks. also, le cellier in the Canada pavilion of Epcot. wow, it has the best steak ever. my husband had the prime rib, i had the mushroom fillet, you cant go wrong with either.
as for spirit of aloha show, i thought it was just okay, wasn't too impressed with the food, but a lot of people love it.
and as stated above, be sure and get your reservations as soon as possible, it really fills up.
congratulations!

Wolfgang Puck is terrific, make sure you have reservations, wherever you go.
There are any number of really good restaurants from around the world, in the International village at Epcot as well.
I was there in April of this year, and never had a bad meal.
Make reservations, the day before however to ensure that you get seated at the time of your choosing.

For some place that's just fun to eat at (although the food is not anything special), try the Sci-Fi Dine-In. You get to sit in cars and watch movie clips. Just a neat experience.
If you haven't found this yet, you can read the menus of every restaurant at http://allearsnet.com/menu/menus.htm and they also have restaurant reviews here.
