Why is it that you can ask a nasty/weird/wtf type question on here and it is answered by 17 people in 16min?
and a 'normal' question gets 3 answers in 2 hours? Also when you ask the nasty questions people still answer but tell you you're unintelligent for asking and having some fun online with likeminded people. Aren't they just unintelligent for answering if they don't like what the question is about?

Because it is easy for people of limited intelligence to be nasty, but they don't have the knowledge to answer real questions. Good question though.

Because that, unfortunately is human nature.
To your second part i would say that to imagine that they are more or less intelligent than yourself cannot be deduced from one or two answers on a site like this. None of us have any idea whom we are talking to on here.

I think it is because they are easy to answer and it doesn't take a lot of thought.

to answer your first question, I think its because people find them more interesting to answer because the question is unusual.
